I think that the three main things we have to be aware of when on the internet are.

1. Not giving out any personal details, like adress, full name, phone numberor any other personal details. Because you don’t know what some people could dowith them and you don’t know who you are giving it to.

2. You also need to know that not all things on the internet are true so you have to  be able to decide and decipher for  yourself whether or  ot it is the right information.

3. You have to be carefull when downloading things like music because it is illegal and some programs don’t pay for it then you get in trouble .

Can one person change the world?….

We looked at two examples of putting your message across and changing the world. We looked at Sandi Thom’s  ”I wish I was a punk rocker” song and what message that gave and Free Hugs video clip from You Tube and what message that gave.

CAN I PERSON CHANGE THE WORLD?

Yes i think one person can change the world,

If they get there message out there by music or video using the internet etc and believe that they can make a change they can make a change. If one person sees what another does and they follow and spread what they’ve seen it moves around and they can get a message across.

This was shown in the Free Hugs clip where a man walked around with a sign saying free hugs and he gradually workedhis way through alot of people and they began to follow and other people started doing the same thing.

Sandi thom put her song out people heard it and liked her song has become a hit so her point of view has been put out.

Why people can’t change the world,

there are many many reasons why a person can not change the world

Not having enough belief in themselves

not being able to get there messsage out

I have really enjoyed working on the kahootz and making your own world representing being ME.Because you could use what ever kinds of things that you wanted and make it suit you.

 At the start of the term i enjoyed doing the digital portfolios. We also did our blogs i don’t enjoy working on our blogs as much as making pages and things in our Digital Port Folio. Next term I would like to put more things on our dighital port folio like adding more content etc.  I don’t want to do any more on kahootz because i have had enough. 

What were you expected to do? 

We had to make a kahootz expression showing who we are and how we are an individual and what makes you different from other people, things you liked could be included to help show you being an individual. 

In this kahootz assignment what did you do well? 

In this assignment I think I did most things quite well like putting pictures on the wall that show I like Carlton that really helped show I am. I like the colour scheme I used. 

If you did the task over what would you different? 

I would use my time better and finish one part at a time then move on to the next so I could easily follow what I was doing. Then I would put pictures of friends and family on my walls. 

What help do you need from us? 

I don’t really need any help from the teachers. 

over the last couple of weeks we’ve been making a kahootz world to show how we are an individual,I’m putting a picture of a house a crazy world and the picture is of my room with a lots of carlton pictures but it’s not finished yet i’ve only really started doing the one world but have the other two set up.

i dont think it matters wether or not you use slang or the real word. because i think that you automatically reajust when your in an english class from what you would write on your phone. because when your on your phone or email you just want to write quick messages to get it over and done with and you don’t carry it over into english or other classes because you know what the expectation is.

My test shows that i am balanced in the areas of  Global and Sequentenial and balanced in the areas of sensing and intuitive and i prefer visual learning to verbal and reflective to active.

The most important technology to me would have to be the Computer or the TV. The Computer, because I mainly use it most days check sporting scores like AFL and cricket and other sport.Other things you an do are Listen to music, and look at info and pictures on the net,whatch movies download things,do your school work, chat or email your friends and heaps of other stuff. I also couldn’t live without the TV because I watch it  most nights I especially like watching th Footy on weekends, other sporting telecasts and just normal TV.

In my digital portfolio i have done most of it and i am up to my third level pages.

I have to work around a problem i have with the hyperlinking and changing colour

I have been using my checklist to help find where i am to and i still need to check if my hyperlinks work.

I chose the colours green,pink, blue and yellow for my digital portfolio because green is my favourite colour and the blue,pink and yellow matched in well. I chose the text for the writring because it is simple and easy to read and the headings looked good and stood out like i wanted them to. I’ve got my links around the side of the pages and all in the same spot, headings in the top left hand side on each page and space in the middle left for text.
